You will visit Chuncho Macaw clay lick on of the largest in the world, also go to a mammals clay lick and live an unforgettable experience fishing for piranhas in one of the wildest rivers in the Madre de Dios jungle – Amazon. To say goodbye, experience an adventure kayaking on the Tambopata River.
General summary
Day 1: Cusco / Puerto Maldonado
Pick up, transfer to the airport to travel to the city of Puerto Maldonado. Reception and transfer to the Lodge “Collpas”.
Day 2: Visit to Collpa Chuncho
You will visit the world’s largest macaw clay lick, the Collpa Chuncho. Participate in a night walk through the jungle.
Day 3: Piranha fishing / Visit the mammal clay lick / Kayak
You will explore the jungle, stop at one of the wildest rivers to fish the Piranha, one of the fiercest fish in the Amazon. You will reach one of the most secret places in the jungle where you will find the Mammal Clay Lick. In the afternoon you will go kayaking.
Day 4: Puerto Maldonado / Lima (or Cusco)
After breakfast and enjoy your last sunrise in the jungle, we transfer you to the Puerto Maldonado city airport.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco / Puerto Maldonado
We will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time for your transfer to the airport in Cusco. When you arrive in Puerto Maldonado, our staff will be waiting for you to be transferred to our lodge. This day you will travel for 3 hours in one of our all-terrain vehicles through the Amazon jungle on a dirt road until you reach the banks of the Tambopata River, where you will board our motorized boat and navigate upstream until you reach our Lodge. In the afternoon we will begin to explore the jungle, we will take a light walk to adapt, along the way you will already be able to observe a great diversity of animals. Dinner and good night until the next day.

Day 2: Visit to Collpa Chuncho / Night Exploration
One of the most amazing days of your adventure. You will wake up at 4:00 in the morning because today you will go to the largest macaw clay lick in the world, a wonderful place where hundreds of macaws come to eat clay that helps them digest their food. Throughout the trip you will be able to observe animals such as the capybara, the otter and perhaps even the Jaguar, the mythical cat of the jungle. Breakfast will be served during the trip, we will return for lunch at about 12 noon. After a break we will go to explore the jungle in search of more wildlife. You will learn about plants and their properties, animal life forms and at night you will have the opportunity to see and meet the nocturnal animals such as the Cayman, bats, tarantulas and birds. Good night after dinner.

Day 3: Piranha Fishing / Visit Mammal Lick / Kayak Adventure
Today you must pass the Piranha challenge, we teach you how to fish the piranha in the traditional way, for this we provide you with the fishing line and the hook. We will take the prey for lunch. In the afternoon after lunch we will take you to visit a magical place, the lick of mammals like the Guangana, the tapir, and even the Jaguar. We will return to the lodge, dinner and good night.
Day 4: Puerto Maldonado / Lima (or Cusco)
You will wake up before sunrise, go up to our viewpoint where you can enjoy the sunrise in the jungle, you can take pictures and hear the song of the birds of the dawn. After your breakfast, we will take you back to the city of Puerto Maldonado and say goodbye at the airport.
