Itinerary

🚐 Cusco – Cusipata – Pomacanchi – Santa Lucía

We start the Waqrapukara 1 day tour from Cusco very early in the morning with hotel pick-up (historic center).

We travel by private tourist transportation along the scenic Cusco – Pomacanchi – Santa Lucía route, passing Andean villages, farmlands, and beautiful highland landscapes.

After approximately 1.5 hours of driving, we stop in the town of Cusipata to enjoy a nutritious breakfast. We then continue to Santa Lucía, the starting point of the hike.

🥾 Hike to Waqrapukara

From Santa Lucía, we begin a moderate hike to the Waqrapukara archaeological site. The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Along the trail, you will enjoy:

You will have time to:

🔽 Return to Cusco
