ITINERARY
DAY 01. – Cusco city Tour
Arrival to Cusco city, reception by one of our representatives, in the afternoon a guided tour in this amazing cosmopolitan city, one of the oldest pre-Colombian capital cities in South America.
Overnight in a hotel.
DAY 02.- Tour to Sacred Valley of the Incas
This tour last approximately all day, starts at 7.00 am from your hotel in Cusco, after traveling 40 minutes we will visit the ancient Inkan living town of Chinchero, following Moray and the salt mines of Maras still under local production. Around noon we will have a typical buffet lunch served in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, then we will visit the impressive Inkan complex of Ollantaytambo, and finally the monumental Pisaq, return to Cusco.

Day 3: Cusco – Huayopata Village (biking / rafting)
Pick up from your hotel at 6.00am and departure towards the sacred valley of the Inkas, where we will be able to appreciate beautiful and picturesque natural and cultural attractions, from the Abra Misminay we will begin our bicycle ride towards Pachar, on the way we will spot Moray and the salt mines of Maras.
Continuing your ride experience you will arrive at Abra Malaga which is at 4316 meters above sea level, after enjoying the amazing view of the snowy Waqaywillka (a beautiful glacier 5682 m.a.s.l.) we continue in the route on our private vehicle descending towards the cloud forest and in about 2 more hours we will be at 1400 meters above sea level altitude. Accommodation will be in our Lodge in the valley the convention 900 m.a.s.l. we have an activity experience in the afternoon, the river rafting, for the lovers of the nature we also have another alternative which is the visit of a botanical garden where medicinal and edible plants can be appreciated. Lodge overnight.
Day 4: Huayopata – Santa Teresa town (Hiking)
Early start, around 6:30 a.m. for a traditional breakfast, before starting our walking trip we will have the option to see a local family home which is located in the heart of the pristine forest, surrounded by coffee and coca plantations, plus a variety of jungle fruits. After that brief experience we are ready to ascend approximately 1 hour and a half to reach the traditional Inka Trail. During the tour we will be able to witness the local flora and fauna, continuing we will arrive to the thermal baths of Santa Teresa which is medicinal and therapeutic, after a relaxing bath we will continue with our walk for 40 minutes more up to the town of Santa Teresa 1550 m.a.s.l. where we will spend our second night. Accommodation in our hostel.
Day 5: Santa Teresa – Machupicchu Pueblo (Hiking / canopy)
Each day will be an amazing discovery, accompanied by our professional tour guide from AITA PERU who will give you a unique and personalized attention throughout our journey, this day we will have an splendid view of many waterfalls from the glaciers, we will also see plantations of coca and coffee that are cultivated by local people, in the afternoon arrival to Machupicchu town 2040 m.a.s.l. which is popularly known as ” the hot springs town”, we will spend our last night at the foot of the great Machupicchu (Inka citadel), accommodation will be in a basic hostel. This day we will have the optional activity of canopying which is an optional service at the request of the client.
DAY 6: Guided tour in Machupicchu – Back to Cusco city
Super early in the morning at 4:30 a.m. we will get ready to go to the Inka citadel of Machupicchu 2450 m.a.s.l a way up through the jungle, a walk that will be for about an hour and a half, having the opportunity to see the sunrise, at 6:00 a.m. we get to the check point, then we will continue the visit inside the inka city accompanied by our professional guide who will share his/her knowledge for about two hours and then you will have free time to visit and hike within Machupicchu, the free time will be based on the return train time table, the train will depart from the tourist Machupicchu town to Ollantaytambo town and then our transport will pick you up with direction to Cusco where our services will end.
As an additional service we could climb up to the Huaynapicchu mountain, subjected to available.
Day 07. – Hike to Humantay Lake (full day tour)
Beginning of the trip is at 5:00 am with direction towards the town of Mollepata 2803 m.a.s.l then we will continue in our transport to the feet of the snowy Salkantay glacier the area is known as Soraypampa 3912 m.a.s.l. ascent to the lagoon Humantay 4200 m.a.s.l. one hour and a half approximately, after enjoying the impressive beauty of this natural scenery we return for lunch, after our delicious meal we head back to Cusco arriving at 17.00 pm.

Day 8: Tour to the Rainbow Mountain of Vinikunca
Beginning of the tour at 5:00am by car, we will travel for 3:00 hours until the sector called Llaqto, from this point we will begin the trekking towards the famous rainbow mountain for 2:00 hours, on the way, we will observe lamas and alpacas, also local traditional people who keep the Andean culture alive. Arrival at the top 5200 m.a.s.l., observation of the splendid scenery and return to the starting point and then return to Cusco, arrival to Cusco 17.00 hours.

Transfer to the airport at requested schedule
