The tour starts at 8.00 in the morning picking you up at your hotel . a private bus will drive us to the most charming places in the Andean Sacred Valley of the inkas. We will stop and visit, Moray , Maras’ salt mines.also We will have an opportunity to visit the village of Chinchero and its beautiful Andean colonial church, built on an inka temple.
Is located 47 km away from Cusco. There we will see an experimental inkan greenhouse, formed by 4 masonry plateaus of concentric circles like rings, 160 meters profound, and wider as they ascend. The studies have determined that the place was created to adapt plants to new ecosystems.
This town is 7 km away from Moray and 3.382 m.a.s.l. Founded in 1.556 by Captain Pedro Ortiz de Orué, as commanded by Viceroy Francisco de Toledo. It has wonderful salt mines which were already worked by pre-inka civilizations to earn their living. Maras is a small town; it looks like a miniature city model.
