DAY 1.-CUSCO – PISPITAYOC (STA. MARIA TOWN). The Inca jungle trip begins at 6:00 in the morning at the hotel. 6:30 we leave Cusco city toward Santa Maria town. Along the way we have a lot of chances to see and enjoy the typical Andean landscapes ,and pass by the famous sacred valley of the Incas formed by the south American rage mountains. After three hours driving we arrive to T`ASTAYOQ (Abra Malaga 4316 m.a.s.l.) the highest point of our entire trip. Here in abra Malaga our professional guides will help us to get ready with our entire mountain biking equipment’s and also we will learn some very important tips to ride the bicycles on this road. During the cycling activity, we are going to enjoy the environment, notice the natural ecosystems, and how the temperature will get warm little by little. After four hours riding we will arrive to WAMANMARCA (town next to an Inca small archeological site) place where we will finish the mountain bike. Once the tour group gets together, our private bus transport us to the Santa Maria town where an energetic lunch wait us. In the afternoon, after 15 more minutes driving, we have a short hike for about one hour to get LA CHOSA our family house located in the middle of coffee, banana, mango and coca plantations. Where we will pass our first night enjoying the jungle sounds.
DAY 2 .-P`ISPITAYOC – SANTA TERESA. The sounds of the nature wake us up. a breakfast prepared using the local crops help us to start this beautiful day.at approximately 8:00 in the morning , once having the breakfast we start the seven hours hiking. Is incredible that just after 15 minutes walking will be in the highest point of this day. In this section of the hiking we are going to enjoy a short part of that amazing Inca trails located at the mountain side. Along the way our guide will be explaining us about the Peruvian history , the flora and fauna that will help us to enjoy our trip.at noon we will arrive to the town of Q`ellimayu ,lunch time. After lunch a nice hiking along the Urubamba river valley led us to get to the therapeutic QOCALMAYU hot springs. After unforgettable moment at this thermal baths, only 45 more minutes of walking is to arrive to our hostel in SANTA TERESA town.
DAY 3.-SANTA TERESA – MACHUPICCHU PUEBLO (AGUAS CALIENTES). After a powerful breakfast, around 8:00 in the morning we are going to start our activities. Leaded by our tour guide after three hours hiking we are going to arrive to INTIWATANA TOWN (hydroelectric) our lunch place. In this small community we are going to visit some Inca remains. Once our guide explanation we are going to continue with the trek for about three more hours all the way along the rail line until AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN, along the way we can see from different Machupicchu located at the very top of Rocky Mountains surrounded by very steep ladders, also surrounded by huge forest and an abundant fauna. Final of the trek at the hotel.
DAY 4.-MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO. At 4.30 , early in the morning all the group will be ready to start the hiking up to MACHUPICHU.Day to conquest the 1300 steps that connect machupicchu from the river side . Through the jungle. The hiking will take us around 1.30 hours. Once registered in the access control, at 6.00 am, we will enjoy the sunrise inside the park. Then we will continue with our visit of Machupicchu companied by our professional guide who will shareus his knowledge for 2 hours. After that, the group will have the chance to walk and discover the inka citadel and take more pictures by themself, always bearing in mind the return time. Finally we will take the train from Machupicchu village to Ollantaytambo and there a tourist bus will drive us to the city of Cusco. The additional service of the day is the ascent to Huaynapicchu.
